<title>Restoring the Image (PM 30 Nov 2008) - Audio</title>
<itunes:author>Roger Hubert</itunes:author>
<itunes:summary>We are made in God's image. The image is inadequate, because we are only human, and it is imperfect, because we are sinners, but we reflect that image all the same.

When Christ came and lived among us, we saw for the first time since Adam the image of God perfectly displayed in a man.

God wants us to reflect his image, and he makes it possible by making us new creations. We are given a new self, which is being renewed day after day in knowledge in the image of its Creator (Colossians 3:9-10). Baptism is symbolic of what God has done for us in Christ, and we should take seriously the New Testament command to be baptised.

In our daily lives we work out the symbolism of baptism by choosing to “put off” the practices associated with our old way of living, and “put on” the character of God's chosen people.</itunes:summary>

<title>A Word for Living and Life! (PM 26 Oct 2008) - Audio</title>
<itunes:author>Roger Hubert</itunes:author>
<itunes:summary>We are holding, in the Bible, dynamite! It is the most enduring, popular, life-changing book ever to be written.

Some people doubt the Bible's reliability, but after 2000 years of challenges it is still going strong. Academics can give us excellent reasons for trusting the Bible, but Jesus gives us the ultimate test. He said: &quot;My teaching is not my own. It comes from him who sent me. If anyone chooses to do God's will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own.&quot;
